International air freight services in Ho Chi Minh City – Air freight is one of the most common methods of international cargo transportation today.
Air transportation enables highly efficient international trade by moving goods to destinations around the world quickly. In some cases, cargo can reach its destination within only a few hours.
However, air freight is most suitable for important shipments, lightweight cargo and high-value goods because air transportation costs are considerably higher than those of other modes of transport.
With many years of experience in international air freight services, Goldwell International Logistics provides competitive international air freight rates together with reliable and safe transportation. Flight schedules are communicated in advance to minimize delays and unnecessary additional costs.
Through its global agent network, Goldwell International Logistics provides not only air freight for exports from Vietnam to destinations worldwide, but also air freight for imports from around the world to Vietnam at competitive costs with a strong focus on safety.
What information should customers provide when requesting an air freight quotation?
Customers should provide the following information:
– Commodity name
– Weight/quantity
– Package/carton dimensions
– Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for chemical cargo
– Origin / destination
– Expected cargo-ready date
How long does transportation take?
– Transit time depends on the destination. It can range from several hours to approximately 4-5 days when no direct flight is available and the shipment must transit through a third country.
How are air freight rates calculated?
– Rates are flexible depending on the destination and shipment weight. Common rate breaks include +45 kg, +100 kg, +300 kg, +500 kg and +1,000 kg. In general, the greater the shipment weight, the lower the unit freight rate.
How is chargeable weight calculated?
– Chargeable weight is based on the greater of the shipment’s actual gross weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as: (Length × Width × Height) / 6000, with dimensions measured in centimeters.
How can cargo be shipped by air?
– If customers are unfamiliar with the air-shipping process, our staff can assist with customs declaration, weighing the cargo, arranging security screening at the airport, and completing the required procedures so the shipment can be loaded according to schedule.
Goldwell International Logistics continuously works to improve and maintain its service quality. Customers can therefore use our air freight services with confidence. All information and documentation relating to customers’ shipments is kept strictly confidential.
